- Born in Hastings in the 1960's I spent most of my youth in the small picturesque village of Fairlight, near Rye. I started my career in photography in 1983 working in professional wholesale and retail outlets for many years. After studying photography in London, I worked for the BBC’s 'In House' Graphics Department as a freelance photographic assistant. Later; whilst bringing up four children, I established a 'Holiday Let' business, using my knowledge of photography to market the venture. Now, I consider my photography very much as a hobby. Most of my work is focused on the 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' where my holiday business is based.
